NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the WSB-TV Montlick & Associates Deserving Military Family Contest (the "Contest") is open to residents of the state of Georgia who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of WSB-TV, Montlick & Associates, P.C (d/b/a Montlick & Associates, Attorneys at Law – hereinafter referred to as Montlick and Associates), Six Flags Over Georgia, White Water, and each of its respective affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.

For the purposes of this Contest, WSB-TV and Montlick & Associates, Attorneys are referred to as “Sponsors” in the official rules.

How To Enter. The Contest will begin at 12:00 a.m. on May 27, 2013 and end at 5:00 p.m. on July 15, 2013 (the "Contest Period"). There are three (3) steps necessary to enter the Contest.

Step 1: Complete an Official Entry Form available at wsbtv.com/contests.

Step 2: Attach at least one (1) photo with a brief essay of no more than two hundred (200) words in length explaining why the Family is the Most Deserving Military Family and should be chosen for the Grand Prize or secondary prizes.

Step 3: All entries must be received by 11:59pm on June 23, 2013. All entries must have photographs and essays that are the original work of a Contestant. Do not copy the work of others. Maximum one (1) entry per household. For purposes of these Official Rules, a "household" includes all people who share the same residence for at least three (3) months a year, regardless of familial relationships.

Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted shall be determined by Sponsors in its sole discretion.  All entries become the property of Sponsors and none will be returned.
Sponsors will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsors. In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning ISP addresses for the domain associated with such ISP account.  Any questions regarding the number of entries or the owner of an ISP account shall be determined by Sponsors in its sole discretion, and Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Contest.

Contestants acknowledge and agree that Sponsors shall have the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, promote, or otherwise display or use entries in any way it sees fit without limitation or compensation to entrants.

Winner Selection. A panel of judges selected by Sponsors will judge all eligible entries. Judges will select the top 5 entries and the entries will be posted to wsbtv.com. On or about June 24, 2013 the (5) five finalists will be selected and be notified. The finalist entries selected by the Contest Judges will be posted on the wsbtv.com Montlick & Associates Deserving Military Family Contest page.

Each selected finalist will be required to submit a video depicting their story and why they should be chosen as the Most Deserving Family.  Video must be submitted by email to WSB-TV on or before June 28, 2013.  Video must be of quality to post on the web, or video will be disqualified.

Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to the edit the Finalist's entries/videos and post only the photographs, essays and/or videos that Sponsors believe most clearly depicts the Contestant's family and reason for winning the Most Deserving Family Contest.

wsbtv.com website visitors will vote for the Finalists that they believe is the most Deserving Military Family between July 2 and July 15, 2013. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected based on the largest number of online votes received on or about July 15, 2013. In the event of a tie in online votes, the Contest Judges will reevaluate the tied entries to select one (1) Grand Prize Winner.  The remaining 4 entries will be declared secondary winners.

Prizes and Odds.

One (1) Grand Prize:  Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, one (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a $5,000 vacation package tailored to the winner’s family’s interests.  Winner will choose location and length of vacation based on spending allowance of $5,000.00.  Vacation must occur in the contiguous 48 States. (Verifiable Retail Value: $ 5,000).  No cash value.  No consideration, cash, or credit will be provided to the Grand Prize winner for the value of any unused portion of the $5,000 trip allowance.  Prize includes round trip economy class air fare for Grand Prize winner and guests (number of guests to be determined based upon trip budget and travel itinerary) from the major continental U.S. airport nearest winner’s home (as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion).  Promoter will determine airline, flight itinerary, and seating in its sole discretion.  If Grand Prize winner cannot travel during the specified travel dates, then he or she forfeits the entire Grand Prize. Grand Prize travel must occur between August 1, 2013 and July 31, 2014.

All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the prize package description above, including costs of meals, parking, ground transportation, gratuities, transportation to and from airport, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes, and all other expenses not specified above, are the sole responsibility of Grand Prize winner.  Prize may be subject to blackout periods, and other restrictions may apply. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Sweepstakes and those set forth by the Promoter’s airline carrier of choice, as set forth in the passenger ticket contract.  Grand Prize winner and guest(s) are responsible for obtaining any insurance (including but not limited to, any travel or health insurance). 

The actual retail value of the trip package may vary depending on location of major airport nearest to winner’s home, travel itinerary, and costs of air transportation at time of award.  Grand Prize winner will not receive the difference (if any) between actual and stated retail value.  If, in the sole judgment of Promoter, air travel is not required due to the Grand Prize winner’s proximity to the prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for round trip air travel at Promoter’s sole discretion.    

Grand Prize winner and travel companion(s) are responsible for obtaining identification documents necessary for travel.  Grand Prize winner may be required to present a credit card at time of hotel check-in.  Grand Prize winner and travel companion(s) must travel on identical itinerary.  Unless a child of the Grand Prize winner, guest(s) must be at least eighteen (18) years of age as of the date of departure.  If Grand Prize winner does not designate any guest(s) in accordance with these Official Rules, no consideration will be provided to the Grand Prize winner for the value of the guest’s portion of the prize package.  Grand Prize winner must provide Promoter with the name, address, and date of birth of his/her guest at time of booking trip.  If Grand Prize Winner changes any of his/her guest(s) after time of booking, Grand Prize winner will be required to pay any flight transfer fees imposed by the airline carrier.  No credit or cash will be given for any unused portion of the Grand Prize.

Once booked, no refund or compensation will be paid in the event of the cancellation or delay of the trip, or any portion thereof. Neither Promoter nor Sponsor will be liable if the Trip, or any portion of it, is cancelled or delayed.  Promoter may, in its sole discretion, attempt to reschedule for a future trip.  The terms and conditions of the airline carrier tickets may govern if the trip is cancelled due to weather, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance or any other reason. Neither Promoter nor Sponsor is responsible for, and will not replace, lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, vouchers, or certificates.

Approximate Retail Value for each secondary prize package is $250

Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received by the contest end date.

I hereby release, covenant not to sue and discharge WSB-TV, Montlick & Associates, P.C., and any other contest sponsor, and the affiliates of each to them, and the employees, officers, directors and agents of each (collectively, "Releasees") from (a) any claim in respect of the conduct of the contest or the award of the prize, and (b) any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred for or due to taxes owed by me, or due to any personal injury to me or others, or damage to property owned by me or others, which injury or damage may arise in any connection with this contest, the prize awarded, or its use, and any travel, accommodations, goods or services provided or not provided to me or to others, whether such injury or damage is

I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees and each of them from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs and expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred for or due to taxes owed by me, or due to any personal injury to, or damage to property owned by me, members of my household or family, the agents, employees, contractors, visitors and guests of any of us, and any other persons, which injury or damage may arise in connection with this contest, the prize awarded or its use, and any travel, accommodations, goods or services provided or not provided to me or others, whether such injury or damage is caused by the active or passive negligence of Releasees or otherwise.

I hereby consent to the use by WSB-TV and contest co-sponsors, and their permittees, of my name, photo, voice, likeness and biographical information for promotional, advertising, marketing and other business purposes.

Winner Notification and Acceptance. Most Deserving Family Winner will be notified on or about July 15, 2013 at the telephone number provided on the entry form. Sponsors inability to reach the Grand Prize winner on or about July 23, 2013, return of any prize notification as undeliverable and/or a winner's failure to timely respond to prize notification may result in that winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and the selection of a substitute winner from among the remaining eligible entries. To claim prize, the Grand Prize winner must personally visit WSB-TV, 1601 West Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30309 within thirty (30) business days after notification (office visits must be between the hours of 9 a.m. (E.S.T.) and 5 p.m. (E.S.T.) weekdays) and must present a valid photo identification. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. The Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for all taxes on the Grand Prize and Sponsors will issue an IRS Form 1099 to Grand Prize Winner. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility certifying that the entrant's submission is entrant's original work, that entrant owns right to the work, and that entrant has complied with the Official Rules of the Contest, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law), which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of personal delivery or date of postmark. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release within ten (10) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media, for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsors.

Participation. By participating, contestants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors. Sponsors.  In the event the Contest is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsors reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.

Copyright. By entering the Contest, each contestant grants to Sponsors an exclusive, royalty-free and irrevocable right and license to publish, print, display, edit or otherwise use the contestant's submitted entry, in whole or in part, for any purpose and in any manner or media (including, without limitation, the Internet) throughout the world in perpetuity, and to license others to do so, all without limitation or further compensation. Each contestant further agrees that if his/her entry is selected by Sponsors as the winning entry, he/she will sign any additional license or release that Sponsors may require.

Construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

Sponsors. The Montlick & Associates Deserving Military Family Contest is sponsored by WSB-TV and Montlick & Associates, Attorneys. The decisions of Sponsors and the Contest judges regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsors will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
